Lesson 5: How successfully did the Cult of Mao and propaganda support totalitarian control in the People's Republic of China, 1945 to 1976?
Connect Activity: Go to the Year 12 History team in OneNote. Answer the TOK question in the conversations tab. Extension activity: Use the dialogue toolkit (above) to respond to one other post. Activate Activity: Use section 3.2.4 and 3.2.5 of Kognity: IBDP History Authoritarian States to create either Cornell Method notes, a mind map or other form of notes on the use of the Cult of Mao and the use of propaganda in the PRC, 1945 to 1976. Consolidate Activity: Reflect on what you have learned about the use of the Cult of Personality and propaganda in authoritarian states.
